  • Consulted on library development with public officials across Florida
  • Assisted library boards and administrators in developing community-based long-range plans and implementing organizational improvements

  • Prepared draft legislation, developed written materials for publication, and made presentations to agency officials and public library community

Library Director, Columbia County (FL) Public Library, 1994–2004

Administered all aspects of county-wide library system with three outlets, directing staff of 30 persons (26 FTE) plus volunteers. Administered annual multi-department budgets totaling $1.2 million in local funds and wrote multiple successful grant applications.
